Hey. Hey.
It's been a while since I did a video.
I'm in kind of a picturesque spot here.
Somebody's doing a little fishing behind
me.
So, two big things for me today. The
main reason though is is to do a
unboxing.
And the secondary reason is to buy a
derailer because I bent the heck out of
my other derailer.
This is my Danish hat helmet.
Um but uh
company is Yak.
They got a nice little rabbit symbol.
Now it's time to do the phone.
So this was the purchase.
I got this a very long time ago
like as in
must be a year and a I got it like right
after they stopped the founders
uh mode for purchasing the phone.
And uh that really pissed me off because
I wanted to get that and I had uh
changed my mind and said, "Okay, I'm
going to get the founders edition." And
then then they swapped it and did early
adopter. And when they swapped it into
the early adopter, I was like, "Oh,
they'll probably let that go for about 6
months or something." No, they let it go
right up until the release of the phone
like for a year and three months or
whatever, which was kind of funny. Um,
so I I was starting to think, you know,
this whole release is going to be corny,
but I have a feeling that people don't
really quite feel how important this uh
phone is. To me, it's a hardware wallet,
and I've never had a hardware wallet
before, so um I'm going to use it as a
Wi-Fi device and mostly just for
trading. Um, and uh, of course there's
some other fun stuff that's associated
with the Salana ecosystem and the fact
that they're going to have a different
kind of app store, all that kind of
stuff I'm going to test out. And lately
I've been playing with um, doing a
JavaScript uh, vibe coding uh, on my own
domain. So, there's a chance that I
might do a test of an app for this
phone. And if I did that, I would want
it to be something fun, some sort of
game that's related to the chain where
if you play it, you're compensated for
it or something like that. So, keep your
eyes peeled for me doing that. I might,
uh, announce it then, uh, through
YouTube. But, um, thanks for tuning in
and I'll just do this while I'm on
camera so that you can see. Here

the unboxing.
Thought about selling it on eBay,
but
That's the phone.
See, it even says seed vault.
So, for those of of you that are tuning
in that don't 100% know what this means,
because it's a hardware wallet, it's
really, really secure in terms of if I
keep my crypto on this wallet itself.
Um, you may say, well, it's not that
secure cuz somebody could hold you at
gunpoint and take this thing away from
you, then it's you lose it all.
That is true. But if I have like the
only method for me to spend is to use
the seed vault and to use my fingerprint
in association with it. Um and then I
keep the backup phrase
in like a safety deposit box or
something like that. It's not
necessarily
um that insecure.
So
which I probably won't do.
I'll just like inscribe it underneath a
picnic table somewhere, some 12word
phrase, and then go back to that picnic
table if I lose it. But anyway, this is
the phone.
This is the day.
And uh here we go down this path.
Okay, I'm going to try and keep this
section under 3 minutes. First off is
the landing screen of the phone. Uh,
next up is
um choosing the seeker ID and I tried
off
um searching and here's the search
interface. I chose happiness first which
was there. Then I moved to planet which
was also there and then belief which was
also there but I ended up settling on
frontier.
So I have the
seeker ID of Frontier Frontier.skr.
Uh theskr is the equivalent of something
called a tople domain or tldd which is
like.com.
It's not recognized by search engines or
by browsers yet but eventually it will
be. That's a minor protocol change.
There's also one foret which is already
famous. It's Ethereum name service. Um,
let's see. Next up,
uh, look at what the token, the Genesis
token looks like.
Um, the wallet, what it looks like.
Um, I connected Phantom to the to this.
And so I connected Phantom to the Seed
Vault. Phantom is a wallet um, for
Salana that is probably the most famous
wallet for for Salana. Um, I've had that
for some time and I've got a bunch of FT
NFTts and stuff on there. Chapter 2
pre-order token. So, that is uh just a
listing of when I got it and the fact
that there's 150,000 unique ones. Um, I
think that encompasses the founders as
well. And then lastly,
um the
I wanted to emphasize that on the All-In
podcast, David Saxs made reference to
Salana many times and uh he was his
venture capital firm had some sort of um
position in the Salana token holding and
I think he um 99.9% he divested all of
his holdings and the also the venture
capital firm's holdings of the Salana
token before he took office and he is
currently the crypto/AISR
for the current federal government
administration and uh he's been one of
the members of the All-In podcast. Uh I
knew that he made reference to Salana
but then in order to find that I found
this great website that searches the
transcripts of all YouTube videos. So if
you have a keyword, you can look it up.

Um kind of a one guy operation, but very
very useful. Um so
that's about it. Um
take a look at what he used to say about
it. Uh Salana was infamous because uh
Sam Bankren Freed had a position in that
um and sold it all. actually sold it at
a loss. There's a long story to that.
